How to Clean a 2000 Toyota Camry's Throttle Body

The throttle body on a 2000 Toyota Camry uses a butterfly valve to control the amount of air that comes into the engine. Over time, particulates can get through the air filter and the throttle body can start to develop a coat of gunk and grime. This can affect the movement of the butterfly valve, and cause a sticky throttle. This can potentially cause an accident. Cleaning the throttle body also lubricates the linkage for the valve, and fixes the problem.
